killing time under the starry night
blend with the moon that makes it shine so bright
the fireball coming from the galaxy
that was the first time they let my eyes see
few meters away from that wooden bridge
so cold in the beach like we’re on the fridge
the cans of beer, our ways of escaping
dropped off the heady-feeling of working.
the clock had striked 3 in the morning
within my eyesight a man was coming
he reached for our hands and told us his name
butterflied belly i had when he came
sunday it was on the 8th day of May
meteor and him on that very first day
special start of changing my whole
spare of hope to wait for that fireball.
