South Carolina March 2011

March 2, 2011! yehey! my departure date! Special thanks to DELTA AIRLINES!

Finally, my first month in USA! It took  27 hours! yea, 27 hours, including stop-overs!

From Manila Philippines to Nagoya Japan to Detroit Michigan to Charleston West Virginia to Atlanta Georgia to Charleston South Carolina! Atleast I had been to different states lol! just in the airports though!

Yey! During my flight, I knew nobody! I was with Kathy, Monica, Letty and Isha (They came from different universities).  For the record, I was the first Paulinian who had her earliest flight going to USA for the Work and Travel program Batch 2011! yey!

I had a taste of winter when I arrived in USA. It’s damn-freezing-cold and thunderstorm had a usual visit in the city of Folly Beach! Our apartment was located in Center Street, surrounded with uproarious bars, lovely beach shops, great restaurants and very nice people! You don’t really expect a lot of people visiting the beach during this season but of course, some still manage to do! It’s fun! 🙂

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Go GREEN! Lovely Center Street, a lot of people really! yehey!!!

Our employer was Roy Bakalo, but it’s usually his wife Inga Kazlauskaite that we got to see everyday or Inga’s brother, Romanas! Roy’s first treat to us was starbucks! sooo good for the winter huh! I would not forget that old woman, named Feliz, who gave me a lil blue bible. She hugged me so tight and told me that i have a beautiful smile. Thank you Feliz!

During my first day in my job, I was able to sell 4 kariza’s. yey! and for the record, na-uh, not to brag, I was the best-seller of Kariza and 2-way dress! ❤

It was March 15, 2011 when I first saw Morris Lighthouse, it’s like 30 minutes biking from Folly beach XD! We never thought it could be that far, soz’! :/ But it’s worth the biking! lol it’s a lovely place and i had this love at first sight to the island!

Month of March, month of Kariza bonding with Monica and Jona! We went out from our apartment to show it to Kathy, Letty and Isha then a stranger outside thought that Jona was crazy because of her dress and hairdo! 🙂 we were actually playing that’s why! it’s funny though!

I worked 9-12 hours, it depends! It was exhausting but it’s not something I’d regret about! I loved my job and I love what I was doing. I had fun! As long as people enjoy what they are doing, nothing can be more fun!

Hiya! I know this is kinda off topic however , I’d figured I’d ask. Would you be interested in trading links or maybe guest writing a blog post or vice-versa? My site goes over a lot of the same subjects as yours and I feel we could greatly benefit from each other. If you might be interested feel free to send me an e-mail. I look forward to hearing from you! Terrific blog by the way! adidas adidas
